Governly uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage technologies to operate the platform securely and to remember your preferences. This policy explains which categories of cookies we use and the third-party services that may set them on your behalf.

Essential cookies

Essential cookies are required for the platform to function. They are used for authenticated sessions, security tokens (including protection against cross-site request forgery), load balancing and to remember your cookie consent choice. Essential cookies cannot be turned off through the consent banner because the service cannot operate without them.

Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies are only set when an analytics tool is enabled and you have given consent. They help us understand which pages are used most, how customers move through the assessment flow and where the product can be improved. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual visitors.

Third-party services

The platform integrates with the following third parties, which may set their own cookies when their functionality is used:

Stripe — payment processing during checkout. Stripe sets cookies required to complete and secure transactions.
Authentication provider — sign-in sessions for admin users. The provider sets short-lived session cookies to keep the user signed in.
Analytics provider — optional, only active with consent. Used to measure traffic and product usage in aggregate.

Managing your choices

You can accept all categories, reject non-essential cookies or manage individual categories from the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies for governly.se or by using your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not prevent you from purchasing an assessment or receiving your report.
